We are currently seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to work with our clients based around the Barnsley area, as well as undertaking remote assessments for our clients based across the United Kingdom.

This role will encompass the full remit of Occupational Health functions, including health surveillance, sickness absence case management, provision of vaccinations and blood tests as well as health promotion.

This is a peripatetic role and will be based partially from our client sites, at our own local site or from home, depending on need.

The Candidate.

Candidates must be a qualified nurse and be registered with the NMC. You will have a qualification in Occupational Health or be working towards gaining one or be willing to undertake the training necessary to undertake the role.

Heales Medical works with cutting edge technology making it essential that candidates have strong IT capability. It is also important to have excellent written and spoken English. High level communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team will also be needed in order to succeed in this role.

As a peripatetic role you will need to be able to travel up to 1 hour from your home and will need a current license and your own vehicle. (or a suitable alternative)

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse wanting to take their 1st steps into Occupational Health to join our team of peripatetic nurses, working in the Cambridgeshire area

The role will be based from a mixture of Heales and client sites around the area. You will be undertaking, undertaking Phlebotomy and providing vaccinations as well as computer based questionnaire screening. You will man our customer helpline and undertake some health surveillance screening.

Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role

  • Registered General Nurse ideally with previous experience of immunisations and venepuncture.
  • Proactive, friendly and professional.
  • Confident with managing their own workload and enjoys working autonomously.
  • The role involves travelling to clinics/client sites, so a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a monthly basis.

We are currently seeking a Medical Administrator to join our busy team within our Admin Hub in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. You will work closely with colleagues as well as clients and their employees to schedule appointments, check reports, answers queries and support our clinicians. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who relishes a challenge, has strong IT skills, can work as part of a team and autonomously where needed and who enjoys dealing with a variety of work on a daily basis.

You should have administrative experience ideally in an environment where confidentiality is important (e.g. medical, legal, HR etc). You will be using our purpose built in-house case management system as well as a number of other IT systems. It’s important that you have strong computer skills. You must also have excellent spoken and written English as the role involves a high level of communication with clients at all levels.
